Annual St David's Day Dinner

DaffodilOur annual St David’s Day themed dinner in aid of the Gwalia Housing Trust will be taking place in Swansea on Friday 5th March. Following last year’s sell-out success, which raised more than £5,000, guests at this year’s dinner will be treated to entertainment by the Swansea Choir and guest speaker Ruth Madoc.

The event will also include a charity auction together with the rare opportunity to take part in the Scrum V Challenge with Jonathan Davies and Stuart Davies.

Tracey Healey, Director of Gwalia Housing Trust said: “The St David’s Day Dinner is always a great evening which helps to raise awareness of what is a truly local charity. “Last year’s event raised a substantial amount of money  which has helped individuals and families in the area. The money raised from the dinner will help the Gwalia Housing Trust to make a real difference to the lives of people within the local community.”

Local projects that have benefitted from Gwalia Housing Trust’s work include the Clase Family Centre, Carmarthenshire Women’s Aid and local independent living project Doorways.

As well as supporting larger scale projects, the Trust also aims to help individuals within the local community by giving regular small donations to raise the standard of living and quality of life.

Tickets are limited and are priced at £35 per person which includes a pre-dinner drinks reception, two course meal and entertainment. For further information, phone 01792 488101.
